Children are the center of everything we do. I advocate for:

• Developmentally appropriate practice that respects each child’s pace, abilities, and learning

style

• Safe, nurturing environments where children feel loved, valued, and protected

• Inclusive classrooms that honor diversity, culture, language, and individual needs

• Positive guidance that supports emotional regulation and teaches lifelong skills

• Equitable access to high-quality early learning opportunities

My advocacy for children is grounded in the belief that every child is wonderfully made and deserves the chance to grow into their full Godgiven potential. 

Families are children’s first and most important teachers. I advocate for:

• Strong family partnerships built on trust, communication, and mutual respect

• Support for military families, single parents, and families facing hardship

• Transparent policies and procedures that help families feel informed and empowered

• Culturally responsive practices that honor each family’s values, traditions, and identity

• Access to community resources that strengthen family wellbeing

My own experience navigating child care as a single military parent fuels my commitment to ensuring families feel seen, supported, and never alone in their journey.

As a leader with 18+ years of military experience, I understand the importance of mentorship,teamwork, and clear communication. I bring these strengths into my advocacy for educators.
